a new direction

for the past several months, this blog has been parked at amandaernst.com. this move was always supposed to be temporary, until i decided what i wanted to put there next. i have finally decided that, although i love this blog and everything that i've posted on it over the years, i don't want it to be my home page any more. instead, i have started a new amanda in the city, which will continue on in this blog's place. i'm going to use that space to explore the last four years of my life, through old posts from this blog, new experiences and new insights. it will focus on the two biggest things in my life right now (and in every 20-something girls' life): my work -- and working within the media -- and my love life -- stories and lessons learned.

this blog will remain at this address, amandanyc.blogspot.com, and i will hopefully find some time to post those things that have always made up amanda in the city: daily musings and my thoughts on everything from my favorite TV shows to shoes. this blog is and always will be a silly blog and an outlet for all the things i have rolling around in my head. if you're in to that sort of stuff, follow along.
