back from the brink

hello again. its been about a week since my like entry...

not much has happened in the past week. i went away, which was blissful and relaxing. it was great to see jennifer and hang out with her like old times. well, maybe not exactly like old times: we kept the boozing to a minimum, only going out one night of three.

as for the job hunt, i've applied to 21 jobs now, and still nothing. i had a tiny coup yesterday when someone high up at our website made a recommendation phone call me. elated, i sent my resume along right away, but 24 hours later, i still haven't heard anything. the job is a huge opportunity for me and will definitely challenge me and make me work hard and long. i'm so excited about it now. all I want is an interview. i'll keep my fingers crossed and keep you posted (as always).

in other fabulous news, i was on tv on sunday night. i played a minor role in the forbes celebrity 100 special on e!. it was exciting. but i was wearing way too much makeup. oh well, i looked pretty and sounded smart!

also, i am going on my first ever grown up vacation with my boyfriend! he has purchased an eight-day caribbean cruise (departing from nyc) for us in october. let the countdown begin! 85 days to sun and fun with my favorite guy. :)

other things to look forward to in october: apartment hunting!

big things are ahead. i'm feeling more positive. i'm still hoping to move on very soon, but life isn't so bad right now.
