merry belated christmas

because my family is full of procrastinators who hate posing for photos, and my mom just got a new camera for christmas that she didn't get a sim card for until the day after christmas, we just took christmas photos today...five days after the actual day.

here's what you get when you combine a perfectionist photo-snapping mother with two impatient brothers, some santa hats and one pair of reindeer antlers:



just one or two good photos until we couldn't take it any more and had to start goofing off. once we figured out how to set the camera to take multiple photos in a row on a timer, we set it to four. here is the first four:









then we decided to take six and eight in a row, and trade hats and other things. lets just say that things deteriorated pretty quickly after that...









yes, we are one happy family. but after the photo shoot, we resumed our positions on the couch in front of the tv, while my brothers headed out the door as quickly as they could.
