things get super serial on the hills

e! online has posted a trailer for the hills' fifth season, which starts on mtv next month. although e! asks "does anyone still care?", for me the answer is, kind of yes.

i am a big fan of lauren conrad, who i imagine will one day be my bff after i get the chance to meet her. i am also not-so-secretly rooting for the total destruction of speidi. the terrible blonde twosome must end. check out the trailer below...it looks like heidi will try to reunite with lauren while her relationship with fiance/husband? spencer falls to pieces over his flirting with a bartender. the trailer is super serious, but it looks like a promo for one episode, not a whole season, so i'm puzzled. what do you think?
