Where to start

okay, to be fair i haven't posted in weeks. but i thought i woud post-date this post to make up for lost time. so sue me, ok?

here's the update:

i got that apartment in brooklyn and am very super super excited. i'm going to be signing the lease next week and I have movers scheduled for the end of the week. so i should be living there by the weekend!

this weekend I went shopping at IKEA in preparation for the big move! i bought a kitchen table and chairs, and a wardrobe and matching dresser. they should be fun to put together.... but i saved some money by shopping at IKEA this weekend because there was a big special anniversary sale. they even had cake.

lauren met me in paramus, nj to shop for furniture, and after she helped me pick out everything, i went back to her parents' house. later that night we dressed in our halloween finest and went to a party hosted by a woman from lauren's work. everyone was young and drunk and the costumes were great. lots of fun was had by all. here is the problem, and my excuses for not posting in forever: my access to blogspot while i'm at work is limited due to the fact that we have very old computers with a very old operating system (os9 on macs) which only allow for the very old version of internet explorer. as a result, all the best functions of blogspot are not available to me if i post at work. this includes type facing like bold and italics, and even posting pics. so i prefer posting from my home computer, but since my parents changed to dsl from cable internet, my internet capabilites have been limited. i will try to post as best i can from work and then update posts with pictures when i get the chance from home. sorry to be such a bore, but you have no idea how disconcerting it is to live without internet access most of the time. i feel like i'm living in 1995.
