insight on a starbucks cup the remix

several weeks ago, i waxed poetic about the cute little inspirational messages i discovered to be handily printed on my starbucks cup.
how quaint!, i thought. how convenient. how lucky am i that starbucks provides such stirring thoughtful tidbits while i am pondering life over my double tall nonfat cap?
i believe i called this move by starbucks "insightful."
well now i say: screw that. i have now gotten no less than three cups with the same stupid quote on them. it's something dumb about polls from some pollster who is also the president and ceo of some company that probably does polls.
wtf starbucks? you claim that this quote (aka "the way i see it") is #235. i have not seen more than three or four of these philosophical musings and i feel scammed. scammed i say!
i visit starbucks quite often, but no more than once a day and hardly more than three or four times a week, so how is it possible that i have managed to get the same saying on my cup this many times? what are the chances? the only explanation is that starbucks is lying about the number of different quotes it has printed on its cups.
or perhaps it only prints a few every once in a while on different size cups. since i usually get a tall, i am probably pigeon-holed into always being stuck with the stupid pollster quote or apollo anton ono's thoughts on dancing, or speed skating, or whatever it was that he did that made him famous enough to qualify him for dancing with the stars.
but don't you think that the starbucks right on the edge of nyu's campus, on broadway just north of soho would go through cups fast enough to hit a new batch fairly quickly? my roommate, the starbucks barista queen, said that her shop in the upper east side does thousands of dollars of business a day. how much is that in tall lattes?
but maybe, starbucks is perpetually stuck with tall-sized cups. grande is undoubtably the favorite size, although i've also noticed that venti is obscenely popular at our local noho shop. tall is just not enough caffeine for these downtown, high strung coffee addicts.
or perhaps starbucks is actually trying to slowly drive me crazy. if that is the case, then it is clearly working.
