memorial day

it is sunday night of memorial day, and i am exhausted. thankfully, there is one more day of the weekend for me to recoop.

this week was long and challenging. i haven't found the time or energy to blog about it...and i apologize. a lot of things have changed at work recently, and i've found myself absolutely drained by it all.

after a difficult week, there is nothing more fantastic than a relaxing long day weekend.

but instead of relaxing i did some really fun and different things...had breakfast in the park, walked the brooklyn bridge, went to coney island for a bit, had an italian dinner in the west village, and then caught a yankees game.

just saying all that makes me feel tired. but i wouldn't have traded this weekend for anything. it was fun!

now i will save monday for sleeping and lounging by the pool. a perfect way to wind down the weekend...before i have to go back to the dreaded office again...
