another ailment

so it is as i feared: i am becoming one of those people that is forever coming down with new and different illnesses!

today was doctor's appointment number 2 for 2007, and with it came my second diagnosis of the year: bronchitis. that's a new one! i've never had this before, and let me tell you, its not pleasant.

so now i'm on super antibiotics and cough syrup, but still trucking away at work. today i requested a story that "wouldn't require me to call anyone" since my voice is mostly gone. do you think its a good idea to work from home tomorrow? i should have stayed home today...but its a long story. every day that i've been sick, starting thursday, i've had to go to work to have an interview. oh well. it's tiring, but its only a few hours a day, right?

this is so unlike me! not the sick part, i have a history of sicknesses especially this time of year. however, i'm usually the first to call in sick, to work, school, whatever. i love flaking out. but my new job...i haven't been home sick one day, although this is my second real full blown sickness since i started.

i must really like it.
