greetings from boston
just got back from my lovely, relaxing weekend in boston. flying was a good idea, although it is a hassle to get to and from the airport here and in boston.
i was happy to visit old friends, old roommates, because it was nice to just do nothing with them. just sitting and watching movies on the couch was good enough for me. i don't do that with anyone else except matt now.
but besides that i did my favorite boston things. we scarfed nachos at sunset, and i had my favorite beer drink, a dirty ho (a mixture of hoegarden, a wheat beer, and framboise, a strong raspberry flavored beer). we hung out at t's pub, a favorite college haunt only blocks from my old apartment. ah, memories.
we also saw dreamgirls (finally!) and went shopping in harvard square. jennifer and i went to town in the greatest little bead store, and i had a burst of creativity. unfortunately, i just realized i left all my beading tools at my parents'. good thing i'm going there this weekend because, oh yeah, forgot to tell you the best part of the whole weekend:
i stopped to get cash at the atm before leaving friday and i left my card in the machine! so i lost my atm card! i'm getting a new one sent to my parent's house.
