spring time?

today i actually left work before 5:30, and got home while it was still light out! of course, once i arrived home, i found the small brown spot in the corner of my bedroom ceiling had increased to a full blown leak...it seems i just can't escape challenges, no matter where i am. one thing seems to be going well while something else is literally falling apart.

in other news, i think the insomnia may be back again. friday, saturday and monday nights i was absolutely restless. waking up in the middle of the night, mind racing, and unable to get back to sleep. my boss just came back from vacation raving about ambien, so if this doesn't correct itself, that's where i'll be heading. hello dr. yet again...

and one bright spot to make the rest seem bareable...i had my first truly metropolitan experience this weekend. i had plans with two seperate plans, went to a bar on the upper east side and brunch in manhattan, and even got to have a dinner date. after my super productive saturday, i was absolutely exhausted sunday, and napped most of the evening.

oh! and i saw music & lyrics, an wonderful guilty pleasure rom-com and perhaps my new favorite. oh, hugh grant, you are so good at what you do. what's more, the faux 80's music videos and corny pop songs were contagious (i don't think that's the right word, but it will have to do). i'm thinking of downloading the whole soundtrack!
