little things make my day

after a particularly difficult monday, which socked me with a combination of a restless night of sleep and a everything-went-wrong morning, today started out pleasantly. i usually don't enjoy talking much in the morning, but i ran into a friend on the subway and had fun riding to work while chatting with her!

i have found that simple things like that can really make my day.
