first things first

so, i am now officially back in the real world. the vacation was great, made even better by the fact that, prior to leaving, i was offered a job!

it was a whirlwind, but i gave my two week notice last wednesday before boarding the ship, so my last day at forbes is next wednesday, october 25. i am going to be a reporter for law360.com, an online legal newswire. i get a pay raise, three weeks vacation (plus the week between christmas and new years and all of the stock market holidays) and -- most important -- i will be writing 3 or 4 stories a day. that is great experience and i'm so looking forward to it! i start next thursday.
