ten things i'll miss about forbes

now that i've cleared all my stuff out of my desk and walked out of forbes's doors for good, i'm getting a little weepy. at times, i had it good there. in honor of my continued introspection, here's ten things i will miss about my (old) job.

1. the comfort and security of an easy job
2. having my boyfriend close by
3. my friends, lauren, tory, maya, michele
4. long lunches, especially when they're courtesy of my boss and include alcohol
5. the amenities of the building: gym, canteen, roof deck
6. always having the inside scoop
7. time and privacy enough to make personal calls during the day
8. the unlimited metrocard
9. not worrying (too much) if i'm running late in the morning
10. afterwork parties

i didn't have room for the free stamps, shipping, fax machine and other free supplies, but i'm guessing every office has perks like that some how.

i already have a list of things i like about my new job, without even starting yet, but i think i'll hold off before posting that one.
