what do you think of my latest project? i'm pretty proud of my ability to assemble swedish minimalist furniture. i feel as accomplished as tom hanks in that stranded on an island movie.

in other news, today was another mess of a day. more than ever, i'm looking forward to my two days off next week. i need a break from the work madness.

but its so comforting to escape for a moment, grab a coffee, or get a manicure after work. whenever i need to destress, those are the things that really get me going.

so one thing you can always count on: the more stressful things get at work, the better my nails will look.
