a trip to hoboken

i dragged the boy out to the mainland this weekend. we had to celebrate tory's birthday.



we left brooklyn around 9:30, in the midst of some gay pride madness taking place along 7th ave in park slope. we took the subway to the path and then took a cab to this bar in hoboken. the bar was actually really nice. we were up on this outside roof bar, with a wonderful view of the nyc skyline, only slightly obstructed by buidlings and a hazy sky.

it was great to see tory, it was totally worth the trip. what's more, lauren who lives in princeton met me there, too. i mean, how often do i make it out to jersey?

and after an hour-long trip home to brooklyn, some pizza quieted matt's whining and it ended up being a pretty fun night.
