crispy mint m&ms

its been quite some time since i did a "things i loved last week" entry. while i'm not really in the mood to do another one right now, i really want to share something that i've fallen in love with in the past week.

last week i came across this neat little indiana jones-themed candy display in duane reade. since i am a sucker for cute little displays and movie-themed candy, i decided to take a look. there were two types of candy there, a tropical take on a snickers bar and green bags of crispy, mint m&ms. although i love m&ms of all kinds (particularly any of the nut varieties) i am not a big mint fan, so i bought two of the snickers bars (one for me, one for my dad) and one bag of m&ms. then i hopped on a train to stamford.

i was hungry, so i opened the m&ms, and to my surprise, they were extremely yummy! they are light and crispy and just the right amount of mint and chocolate. they taste like andes mints with the consistency of rice krispies with a crisp chocolate shell. some of them also have cute little indiana jones pictures on them, like fedoras and mayan temples.



after i returned to new york, i came across another display in another duane reade. i bought two more bags. since they are now gone, i'm going back to buy some more, before they completely run out. i suggest you do the same.

p.s. skip the snickers. they were not so good.
