if you want to live in the zip

i'm not sure if you know this about me, but i often check the statcounter to see how well my blog is doing. i don't mind telling you that i get an average of about 15-20 hits on my site a day, not counting my own visits, of course. but in the past week, i've been reaching record pageloads, and i don't know where they are coming from!

on wednesday, the site had 61 pageloads, more than i have had in recent history, matched only by 57 pageloads in mid-april after i launched a facebook group for my avon walk for breast cancer that linked to a certain page on my blog. that obviously drove traffic here (that group now has 53 members), but what is motivating the recent push?

whatever it is, i'm not complaining. welcome new readers, be you from new york, oklahoma, long island, massachusetts or kentucky (see, i know where you live...be afraid).

so what better way to welcome new readers than by gushing about my silly television obsessions? yesterday i gushed about so you think you can dance, and today i can't wait for the season finales of gossip girl and house.

but, there is one tv show on the horizon that promises to be all the guilty pleasure of gossip girl, with the crazy storylines of the oc, and may just be absolutely horrible. no matter. i will definitely be watching when it premieres in the fall.
