picking reality tv

last month, i revealed my obsession with reality tv, but now i hope to display my uncanny ability to pick winners.

i know i have readers who follow my two favorite reality shows currently on the air: so you think you can dance and top chef. so you will (possibly) appreciate my insight and predictions. everyone else (all 2 of you) you can just skip past these posts because just admit it you don't ever really read any content anyway, you just look at the pictures.

what i am promising to do for these reality shows is pick a winner. for sytycd, it will be easy. after wednesday night's performance show, i will offer up my prediction of who will be in the bottom "dancing for their life" and who i would like to see get sent home during thursday's elimination show.

for top chef, every week after wednesday night's show (which include an elimination, so no prediction possible there) i will post my prediction for who will be in the final 3. this may change or it may stay the same.

while my predictions mean just about didly squat, i will keep track of my record and sum it up at the end when the shows wrap up with a final winner.

just to get this party started, i am going to let you in on my current favorites to win these shows.

so you think you can dance

lacey it doesn't hurt that her brother won last season's contest, but she is also talented, professional and cute. also, unlike some of the other contestants, her voice isn't grating and her answers to stupid questions like "what doesn't america know about you?" don't make her sound like an idiot.

top chef

brian the show is four weeks in, and west coast-based seafood chef brian is the winningest chef yet, with one elimination and one quick fire challenge under his belt.
