so true. so sad.

leave it to my favorite irreverent nyc blog, gawker, to touch on all the most annoying parts of nyc. read just the first paragraph of their most recent post in their series "already over" and you'll get the gist of the thing. read all the way to the end to experience the most inciteful part of the whole thing: "remember: we *write gawker*. where else in the world would we live but somewhere so utterly already over?"

i feel the same sometimes...and just like them i hate myself for being a member of the hated "media."
